The Cable Com annual golf tournament was as much fun as it was successful in raising money for children. The event held on Halloween at Twin Creeks Golf Club was attended by 125 golfers. The scramble also featured a best Halloween costume contest, a long drive contest with shots hit by Chris “The Hitman” Ahman, closest to the pin contest, a shot hit by PGA TOUR champion and UT alum David Gossett, a $20,000 hole in one contest, a win a drone hole, a Las Vegas game hole and a dinner catered after by Serranos.
“My deepest thanks to Cable Com,” said For Every Child, Inc. President Julie Petrovic. “I know the volunteers who worked hard to organize the tournament spent a lot of time making sure the event was not only fun but also raised a lot of money for us.” President and CEO David Clarkson said they owed much of the success to “the continual support of sponsors from their long term business relationships and to the generous spirit of the Cable Com employees and clients.”
Principals David Clarkson, Teresa Clarkson, Paul Davis and Sondra Davis presented an $8000 check to Tim and Julie Petrovic on November 9th.
