Sports Group Donates to Children
The International Kickball Federation (IKF) donated money from tournaments in the Tampa, Fl area and the Austin, TX area to purchase pajamas for children in emeregency sheters in Tampa and pants for the children in Austin. "These are the items we needed most and don't get donated very often," said For Every Child, Inc. president Julie Petrovic. "We're very grateful that the IKF chose us and were willing to help us fill that need." When asked why the IKF chose to give us part of their proceeds, IKF president Jon Simon responded, "We felt it was important to partner with a charity that has ties to the local community. The International Kickball Federation chose to support For Every Child as its charity for the Lone Star Kickball Open. The IKF wanted to give back to the area that
was supporting us and be able to have people identify with the charity. " We're very grateful for their support! You can check out their website at www.theikf.com.
San Antonio Federal Credit Union Makes FEC their project for the year
Every month staff and customers of San Antonio Federal Credit Union located in the Greater Tampa area, donate a different item to fill a 'Hope Tote' for a child in need. After receiving a list of items needed in the totes, the credit union put large donation boxes in several of their locations and started collecting. So far we have received some beautiful blankets, very cute pajamas, much needed toiletries and monetary donations. This is an excellent example of a community of people supporting those most needy in their own community!
Santa Cruz Catholic School children earn money to help less fortunate children
For their Fall service project the children of Santa Cruz Catholic School in Buda, Texas will be earning money to purchase clothing, toiletries and blanket material to make their own totes for our 'Hope Tote' program. The whole school is getting involved. The children, staff and volunteers will get together at the end of the fundraising to make the blankets and out the totes together. What a great way for children to learn a valuable lesson and help out a child in need!
Kids Discover Joy of Helping Other Kids

Volunteers from Little Helping Hands, an organization in Austin that pairs families with children who want to "get involved" with charities that need help, spent time packing clothes for our 'Hope Totes' program. "One of the best lessons we can teach our children is how to care for those less fortunate. The kids from Little Helping Hands not only provided a wonderful service but they learned how important it is to do something meanigful for another child," said For Every Child, Inc.
